Unplugged the Ozone

In a spa you may see the chlorine demand with no bather load (so in days in between soaks) drop from over 50% to under 25% per 24 hours. On the flip side, the chlorine demand for handling bather load from soaks may roughly double.

For a pool it's much harder to say because ozonators are often undersized in residential pools and the bather load is so much lower so the amount of chlorine loss from ozone in a residential pool is usually not noticeable and may not even be measurable. It all depends on the size of the ozonator relative to pool size. After you unplug and then measure, let us know if you see any change in chlorine demand (all else equal).
