pressure from Return

I have an above ground pool and having a problem with the pressure coming out of the eyeball. It is good for about 25 minutes then how completely down to nothing. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem

What kind of filter? How big?
Pump size?
Filter pressure, both clean and when flow stops?

What does the water look like?

I have a Clear water 2 I believe. It is a dome filter. The water is clean

I do not know what a dome filter is.

If so, a cartridge filter.

That is my filter and I have grids in my filter

take your return off of the pool and make sure leaves, grass or other matteral isn't blocking the inside of the eyeball or grid. I had a piece of plastic blocking mine, from where it came I haven't a clue.

Getty Thank you and I have taken the the eyeball piece off and made sure there isn't anything blocking it and I also made sure all hoses are clean going into filter and from the skimmer. I have a DE filter and the help I was getting was telling me you don't have to put earth in it when you clean the grids but I have always been told told you have to. Can someone please tell me yes or no about the earth.

If you have a DE filter, you must use DE. If you have a cartridge filter, then you do not need, and probably should not use any, DE.

By any chance are you losing prime on your pump? Do you see air on top of the pump basket?
