Ok, so I've been slamming my pool for the past week. The last couple of nights I've passed the overnight FC test and my pool is keeping a good FC level (around 12 for the SLAM). My CYA is holding steady at 30 and my PH is around 7.6. Everything seems to be good.
I've been vacuuming up what I thought was algae everyday. Sometimes on filter sometimes on waste. Every morning when I wake up and check the pool though, there is junk on the bottom.
My initial thinking was that it was algae, but now I'm starting to think it's sand. It seems to happen more when I run the filter for and extended period time. I've been back washing and rinsing my filter every other day but the stuff on the bottom just keeps coming back.
Any ideas??
