Out of curiosity, what's considered a good CH for tap water in a home, to where there's no scaling, water stains, etc? We've had hard water problems in the past and have a new softener that I installed, and it occurred to me I could use my TF-100 kit to check its effectiveness. Since our neighbors are all on community well, I could compare mine to theirs.
