Sinking AG pool

The poles on one side of our metal frame pool is sinking into the ground. We have a soft yard after it rains and that is when we notice the sinking. We have attempted fixing it several times but the rain always causes sinking. Are we right in thinking the yard just won't support a pool? Is there a solution to this?

Have you put pavers under the posts?

Yes they sink too. Like the weight of the metal posts pushes them down.

Do you have any pics of your pool so we can see how bad the sinking is.

Wow, that is pretty soft. Since it is only a few you could get a hand tamper and tamp it. Add fill and tamp until it firms up. Are you using 12" pavers?

It is also possible that the pool is on a fill area. Sometimes builders will dig a hole to throw site debris, trees, etc and bury it.

Stone under neath your pavers......if it were me, I would use at LEAST 12' pavers and stone under the pavers.
