Pentair Superflo leaking?

Hi, this is my first post here so please bear with me.

My wife and I just bought a house with a pool that is an absolute swamp. The poor thing sat for about 2 years with no attention. I plan to SLAM it as soon as we finish moving in, but my first problem is that the pump leaks. The pump is a Pentair SuperFlo and it seems to have a leak on the underside about in the middle of the pump. I'm thinking that I need to replace the o-ring in the housing but I thought that I'd check with you guys first to see what you think.

Sounds more like the shaft seal is leaking. You can get a "go-kit" that includes the shaft seal and all the other seals in the pump if you want to start fresh.
