After fixing the pool we realized that the motor of the pump has some rusted connections and it wouldn't start. Wanted some advice on whether to replace the whole pump (http://imgur.com/zzVRF1A )or just buy the motor part (http://imgur.com/3B68eKj ).

Thanks

How about fixing the connections?
How old is the pump/motor?
We don't know how old it is as we just bought the house. But looking at the condition of the pool it was not used for years. The pool guy who came to fix the pool and the connections couldn't fix it. He showed me the rusted and broken part on which he was attaching the black color wire from the main switch.
