I have a small summer escapes pool. Filter went out. So I decided to do an upgrade. The new hoses on this intex Krystal clear filter are to large for our current inlet and outlet on the pool. What do we need to do to get this to fit? Any help would be appreciated.

I know they sell conversion kits. Our dilemma is the hoses seem much bigger than the inlet and outlet. Will it be sucking really hard to get the water in and out. Is their any way we can change the inlet and outlet pieces? Anyone know? The hose is 1 1/2. The inlet and outlet is much smaller.

Have you measured the pool fittings? The Intex hoses that came with the filter are 1.5 inch hose. I'll bet that the pool fittings are the smaller 1.25 inch size.
If that is true you can try these. You'll need two of them.
It would be the easiest and most simple fix for you.
These are made specifically to do what you are trying to do.
It wouldn't require any more additional parts to get you up and running.
