Just finishing pool build and wondering the best location for the ladder in the deep end. Pool has a diving board and is 18x36. Should it go just before the slope starts or further up the slope? Diving board will overhang 2 ft.

In my 40x20 with a diving board, my ladder is about 2 feet up the slope toward the shallow end.
