Relationship beteen pH and alkalinity

I used to add acid regularly, every 3-4 days with my SWG. I did the Borate thing (Borax) earlier this summer, and I now my PH is very stable at 7.4 with a CH of 220, and a TA at 110. I can't remember the last time I added acid.

My pool seems to have reached some sort of state of equilibrium which makes me very happy:)
