Hello all -

I'm an Arizona native that just closed on our first home with a pool. I plan to do the maintenance myself and have already ordered the TF-100 test kit.

Just thought I'd briefly introduce myself before getting into any questions.

Welcome. It seems daunting at first, but gets easier.

Test the pool water as soon as you can! Full schedule of tests. It also helps to know what the TA and CH of your fill water is at, so test some water out of the tap or wherever you plan to fill from after running it for several minutes. Good practice with the kit as well. Fill out your forum signature with pool details so it's easier for folks to know what you're dealing with.
