Safe to Swim? (High Chlorine)

Hello! I'm just finishing a SLAM (I drained 1/3 of my pool because of CYA levels and an almost algae outbreak 4 days ago). The pool is now crystal clear and sparkly (I've scrubbed walls, backwashed, etc over the last 4 days while SLAMming) and test levels look good, except the chlorine is high. We were going to have friends over to swim, but wanted to make sure it was okay to have people in the pool. I do have the TF-100 kit.

according to this chart :http://www.troublefreepool.com/content/128-chlorine-cya-chart-slam-shock you are under SHOCK level so you are good to go. It will drop some over the next few days so you should be fine. Just don't let it get below 5 for any reason.

Its safe to swim up to your SLAM level, which is 16....so go for it!! :splash:
