Any Margarita drinkers out there??? If yes, have you ever had them frozen out of an ice cream maker?

It is really simple. Here is what you need:
1 Electric Ice Cream Maker (1 gallon preferred)
Rock Salt - Lots of it
Ice
Powdered Margarita Mix (Found at any Liquor Store)
Tequila
Triple Sec
Plastic Cups (If by the pool)

Directions,
Setup your IC machine just like you are going to make Ice Cream. Most of your Margarita mixes will have mixing amounts on the back of the packets. Starting out, I would follow those directions and you can fine tune once you have mastered the mix.

Once ingridients are mixed and ready, start adding layers of ice around the edges of the container and adding the Rock Salt in large amounts as well. Repeat the process until ice is at its desired level. I normally wet a dish towel and place it over the machine. Plug it in and let the machine do the job. You may need to add ice and Rock Salt just like you would if making ice cream. When you notice a frost beginning to form around the outside of the bucket, you Margaritas are beginning to thicken.

Once the Margaritas have thickened to desired consistency, voila, frozen Margaritas out of an Ice Cream machine. They will be one of the smoothest Margaritas you have ever had or made. GOOD LUCK!!!
:thumbs up:
