I have noticed after the last rains and after a month or so of splash out my CYA has dropped from 40 to about 25 or so. What made me check is the last few months I have been using 4ppm chlorine almost like clockwork. Now it has crept to 5ppm. This is full sun in Arizona. I have a full bucket of pucks just sitting here and I also have some CYA granules. Would you just add the CYA granules or would you float some tabs to bring the CYA levels back up? This is an AGP with a vinyl liner.

I would use the granules to get the CYA up immediately rather than waiting for pucks to dissolve. Save the pucks for vacation.
