Dr. Dave method for applying stucco

Hey Dave

Can you please share your method for applying stucco? Prep and actual application would be great. Did you trowel it on or spray it? If sprayed did you use a hopper gun? What size nozzle?

Did you tape the joints and corners or use corner beads for the corners?

I just noticed your post, sorry for the delay.
1. I used mesh tape for the corners and thinset as the mud. Cover all screw heads with thinset
2. Brush and roll concrete adhesive 1/2 hour before stucco.
3. Trowel on a single coat of tinted stucco, 1/8" thick. My island took exactly 1 bag.
Thats it! Make sure you put down drop cloths.
The entire process including clean up was 2 hours.
