I have an above ground 15 x 30 oval. We have been fighting cloudiness for two weeks. Yesterday we bought a five way tester and the alkalinity is 240.We added 1 qt of muaritic acid and today it is still @ 240

Hi, welcome to TFP! TA will not affect the clarity of the pool. Could you please post a complete set of test results?

The good news is we can help. The bad news is you'll likely need a better testing kit like a TF100 or K2006 soon.
