Hello, we have just purchased a K-Star 5KW heater for our Bestway Steel Frame pool (I think our pool is 11 x 20) We called the pool supply company prior to purchasing it because it recommends that it should not be used with a soft side pool. We purchased an Intex sand pump for our pool, so they told us that with that kind of pump, the K-star would be ok. So we purchased the heater, had an electrician in to set it up and now the issue is that our pump is pumping water too fast for it to heat. The water that is coming out is warmer by maybe a few degrees but it's not warming it fast enough. My husband said we may need a by-pass to heat the water. Did anyone have any problems like this and how would we do this?
