Replacement Pump

I have started having issues with my haywood 1 hp pump motor it has been getting really hot way to hot to touch for long// Im thinking the bearings must be in bad shape the circulation is like always// My question has anyone replaced there haywwood with A.O. Smith UCT1102 1HP 115 / 230V C-Face Energy Efficient Round Flange Motor it seems to be direct replacement as well as more energy efficient / since our home is on the market i do not care to go the vari spped motors

Yes, I've replaced many AO Smith motors. It's a good quality motor. Either the square flange or c-frame are good motors.
