TA - 250 How do I lower this Need Help New to doing this - I am Using 6-way test Kit

I just filled the pool 3 days ago, using the 6 way test kit this is the results
I thought I had done something wrong this morning when I tested for TA - I got same results this evening.


FC - 0 per pool math going to add 76 oz bleach
PH - 7.5 ok
TA 250 I don't know what to do

What FC level are you targeting? What strength bleach?

What are your plans for stabilizer CYA?

Why the concern over your TA? Are you having pH issues?

You should be more concerned with getting a better test kit.

Anyhoo, a trip to Pool School is in order. IMO unless you are having trouble maintaining pH your energy would be better spent getting a steady FC level.

Thanks Kim, I will look check link out.

Dom, I am new to using BBB and testing and taking care of the pool. I will check out Pool School. Scared that I will miss up and the pool water will get bad. Don't want to fail.
