Hi, first post. I just purchased the Intex Krystal Clear 3000 GPH Sand Filter Pump for my 18' Intex Ultra Frame. When I opened the box, there were a few small pieces of plastic on the bottom of the multiport valve that were broken. The broken pieces just make the holes in the bottom bigger. It doesn't seem like it would affect the seal between the valve and the tank, and the area that goes on the center pipe inside the tank is intact. I am in the process of filing a claim with Intex, but until I receive a replacement part, I'm wondering if it would hurt anything to run the filter with the broken one.
Multiport valve broken. Safe to use?
