Seeking tips/advice for pool floor installation

Looking for tips/advice on installing a concrete/vermiculite pool floor. After setting up string lines to mark the finished depth of the pool floor, I understand is best to start on the deep end wall, going from edge of hopper up, then side walls, then hopper, then up slope, then shallow end. With a 10' depth, our deep end walls are steep and high. Looking for advice/tips on how best to approach. Is it ok to use fresno trowels (very large - i.e. 3' long - steel trowel with rounded edges on a long broom stick)? Also, thinking of using a pumper truck to bring the vermiculite/concrete right into the pool. Any concerns with this? Would love to hear comments on the above as as well as any general advice/tips on pool floor installation.
