Pool full....enter frogs! bleh!

I filled the pool today and while it was filling.....here came a gigantic toad! I immediately turned on the pump, added 11 Oz of bleach and sprayed the perimeter of the pool with vinegar.

I pray that I don't have to relive the frog orgy of 2014.

Would you recommend I just watch my chlorine levels or should I add a bit of borax?

You should be ok...unless those toads can scale the sides of the pool or use a ladder.

See that's what worries me. I have no trees for them to be able to dive from. Last year I only heard them....never saw them until they laid their nasty eggs that hatched into hundreds of tadpoles. Bleh.
I have no clue how they got into the pool.

with good circulation and daily brushing, the eggs should be going into the drain or the skimmer???

I don't have a drain or skimmer. It's a seasonal pool.

I don't know why, but if we have a huge rain.... I've taken 30 or more frogs and toads (frog poseurs) out of the pool and skimmer..... No matter HOW much I complain..... we'll they just DON'T listen....
