Hello! I am new and a bit overwhelmed! I think I made my signature as I was suggested to. Please let me know if I need to add anything. I don't have any issues as of now, but I'm sure they are on the way. I fired the pool guy about 3 weeks ago. I did search the forum for a robotic cleaner and purchased the Polaris P955.

Get one of the Recommended Test Kits, I use the TF100 from tftestkits.net.

All I see that you missed is what the surface of your pool is: plaster/pebble, Fiberglass, or vinyl.

You're going to be so happy when things all click. Your pool will be clearer than you ever thought possible and after the initial steep learning curve, it's mindless. Daily care takes about as long and is about as difficult as brushing your teeth. The key is testing it yourself. If you don't already have one of the recommended test kits, order one now.
