Pool repair advice needed - gunite pool resurfaced with glass.

image.jpg65 year old 45,000G gunite pool with 3 foot thick gunite walls, way over built and not losing a drop of water. The pool was resurfaced with fiberglass / resin 10 years ago and is holding up really well except for a few places that are delaminating at the top. The glass was run all the way up to the coping. This delamination started 3 years ago and has progressed. Now it's not safe. Whatever was used to fill in and smooth out where tiles were missing before the glass was applied didn't hold on well. The rest of the pool looks pretty dang good. Anyone have a recommended fix short of cutting out these areas and re-glassing? Maybe a really strong adhesive and some sort of clamp? I'd like to make it through this season without draining and fixing. Thank you!

Husband says does it have to be pretty? If not you MIGHT be able to use fiberglass mat (not the fiber kind) over it so that it adheres top and bottom. He says the met is easier to work with. It will be messy and you will have to find a way to keep the stuff from getting into the water.

Good luck!
