Yes I clean skimmer basket. But there nothing in the pump basket. When should test cya since added Tuesday morning?

I added 39oz acid to bring ph 7.8 to 7.2
I add another 18 oz of Stabilizier. 8oz per skimmer. Last I’m going to raise fc from 1 to 3. Right before I go to work I will add calcium

I saw the Stabilizier that I added 48 hours ago still in my skimmer when I took the basket to clean. Sorry I don’t listen. I just add 18oz Stabilizier to the sock and leave it in the skimmer.
I just found out that I did total chlorine instead of free chlorine since I receive my test kit. I used test kit inside Taylor k1000.
Here is a link to the components for the FC test you should use instead of the drop one. The drop one is more for "Is there any FC in my pool?" kind of testing. The powder test is much better. FAS/DPD Chlorine & CC's test

Once you get the water clear with the drops stop the test then. It can turn back to pick if you let it sit for a little while but don't worry about that. Once the water goes clear you are done with that test.

I use liquid chlorine I get from the local pool store or Ace Hardware up the road from me. You need to add some each day or you will end up with algae. Here is a link to show you a basic pool care schedule:

This morning cya is 20. All 16oz stabilizer should be dissolve tonight. How long should I wait to test or add more to reach 30?
