1.5" skimmers with 2" pipes elsewhere

If I have 2" pipes throughout but 1.5" connections at skimmers, will this affect my flow rate? Am I much better off having 2" connections at skimmers? Thanks!

No.

Sustion pipes are often one size smaller then equipment pad pipes and return pipes.

What pump do you have that you are worried about flow rate?

Thanks. I am planning to get the Pentair IntelliFlo VSF Variable Speed Plus Flow Pool Pump 011056 .

If you have a VS pump you should be running it at low speed and flow. Your pump VS settings will determine your water flow rate, not the size of your pipes.
