Hi there! New pool owner here. I have been having fun learning about balancing and sanitizing my pool water, and just water chemistry as a whole.

I am curious about the readings I am getting. I tested 3 times and with 2 different brands of strips and they are both registering o total chlorine, and the free chlorine is in the ideal range. I'm just wondering how this could be accurate?

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Looks can be deceiving. I guarantee that those test strips are not giving you good results. You need a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit. That's a must for any pool owner. Also see the link below for more info.
