I saw Walmart concentrated bleach is now 6% concentration. This is the same as Walmart cleaning bleach. Is there any difference between these now? Neither appeared to be easy pour or anything like that. Concentrated is $2.94 and cleaning is$1.77.

Put the bottle in the water, turn upside down, and squeeze the bleach out by smashing the bottle.

You could also wrap with teflon tape. I think it's often not recommended on plastic, but the pool company appears to have used it when servicing the previous owner with no bad effects. It may tighten up the threads just enough....

Does it have an o-ring? If not, try putting one on before super gluing it...

It's been holding steady....probably about 3 weeks of 7oz per day maintains it at 4ppm.

As I mentioned, people go the entire winter and still end up with FC upon opening, due at least partially to cold water. I'm simply asking if I should even need to add the 7 oz that the Stenner is adding, or should my chlorine consumption be about zero with the cold water. No intention of adding...

Thanks...just wanted to see is it made sense. I wouldn't really be able to pick up that loss with the FAD/DPD, as that's in .5 FC increments...I guess if I really wanted to I could do a 20ml sample, but I'm not that concerned if it seems in line with what's expected....
