    It doesn't cope, you do. It will make (roughly) the same amount of chlorine per hour so you continue to test and adjust runtime / output accordingly. It's merely a different method of chlorination, not a replacement.

    Do what divers do. Spit in the mask, smear it around, no more fog. Or if that's gross to you, you can buy a bottle of some kind of anti-fog juice that does the same thing.

    My pool is burning

    In my last house I lost all my patio furniture cushions over time due to the same effect. A wall of Low E3 glass and a west facing patio meant smoking cusions :)
