    You might have to activate "Track Borates" to get the calculations offered. I certainly have boric acid available in my PoolMath, in both, the main overview and in the "Effects of Adding".

    You could try those hose weights that come with Kreepy Krawlies to adjust the angle of the hose leading up from the cleaner to the surface.

    And regarding the statement that garden grade DE is safer to handle: Pool grade DE contains crystalline silica (as a result of the heat treatment), which is required to use it as a filter, but it also makes it a carcinogen when breathed in.

    If the Turkish Domestos is the same as the Australian one, then don't use it for the pool, not just bleach. List of ingredients: Water,sodium hypochlorite, lauramine oxide, sodium laurate,sodium hydroxide,sodium silicate, perfume.
