The water is looking better but I had FC loss over night. I opened the pool 3 days ago with a cya of 40. I dissolved enough cya to bring up to 80 cya. Do I assume the cya level is 40 or 80? I know it takes time for the cya to record on test. My problem is I’m not sure what number to go by to...

One of my anchors is stripped, not the bolt but the threads inside of the anchor. What the best way to handle this? I’d probably do a lot of damage to the concrete trying to remove the anchor by chipping it out. So should I fill it in with concrete and drill a new hole nearby? appreciate any help

I’m sorry I should have been more specific..... I need one with a valve stem to hook up my compressor to blow out returns. I need to put a plug into a 2” union on the equipment pad. The inside diameter is approx 1 3/4”

I have a little problem finding the correct size blowout plug. It seems like they come in either 1 1/2” and 2” but I usually blow out by taking apart the Union for 2” pvc pipe. so 2” is too big and 1 1/2” is too small. The inside diameter is about 1 3/4”...... any idea where I can find one? Thanks

I have two plugged (returns) but the other two nothing. Getting frustrated because it doesn't make sense...does it?

I'm blowing returns now, the 2 closest returns are blowing bubbles like crazy but the 2 farther ones.....nothing. I got the compressor going at 75 psi. The 2 returns in question are about 40-50' from pad.

I finally found one but it did not work. The way my return eyeball is designed,the eyeball does not screw out, it is held in by the ring that screws into the port. So you cannot use the tool with eyeball in place,so what i bought is useless. Is there a tool that would work for this situation,or...

I also used the caulk method and it worked great. Every year that is the part of pool closing I dread, more than the pool cover.

The water in my inground pool is getting low, almost below the skimmer. I placed the valve in main drain mode so I will still have flow. I am closing this weekend. Should I add water (seems like a waste since I am going to drain it) or just leave it where it is? I do need to vaccum before close.
