Apply the Teflon tape in the same direction that the fitting is turned while tightening. I do not need to tape or pipe dope the center connection in my unions and they never leak. The threaded end, I would use the tape or pipe dope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just hope the air that is entering the system is somewhere around the equipment as opposed to under the ground. This is what we did last year to cool our water when it got got tub like. Not the same problem this year. Aeration does raise your ph though. Hard to see but laterals have small holes drilled in them on an angle that puts water out at a 45 degree angle to water line. And no that overgrown weed...

I just had the wet end of a pump on my spa seize up. After doing all of the research I replaced the whole shooting match. Pump and wet end. Not worth doing part on an older motor like that.
