Let someone confirm but if you have line voltage between L1 & ground and also l2 & ground then the breaker is fine. Problem is if both have 120 volts then you must have 240 volts between L1 & L2. Something isn't adding up!

I think your best bet would be to make a tool to rotate the adjusting knob. That appears to be the same jet that's in my pool stairs. If so that knob is 1.25". Maybe a short piece of 1 1/4 hose or pvc. Take the jet to the hardware store & see what you can find.

What's the brand & model number of the filter? A leak on the suction side would allow air into the pump that you would be seeing through the lid. You may need to do a chemical clean on your filter's grids/cartridges. Algae will quickly clog a DE filter. Do you know your CYA & free chlorine levels?

That could be 120 or 240. Check voltage with 1 meter lead on the black & the other on the white wire. Is the right side breaker for the pump?

Which of those 3 breakers is for the pump? If it's the one on the right then your pump is running on 240 volts.

If you have valves on the suction lines then close those before removing the lid. After cleaning the basket & topping up the water then replace the lid, open the valves & turn on the pump. The quicker it primes the better but 45 seconds or less shouldn't hurt the seal.

How high is the filter pressure before turning off the pump? Do you have good flow at the returns?

So how often do you think bearings & seals should be changed? Mine rotates roughly 150 million times a season.

There's also the Pentair Quad DE filters that are cartridge filters that use DE. My understanding is the cartridges have less pleats that make them easier to clean than standard cartridge filters.
