I have been having trouble keeping pressure for waterfalls, cleaners etc etc i think I may have found the issue. Appears to be cracks at this seam? Is this normal for this type of filter? Should I just get some JB weld and go at it? Video here: thanks

I cant seem to find this on line, is their a replacement filter for this type. It is only about 5 years old so I would think Hayward still made these filters???

Mine is a Hayward Cartridge C200S. It has the red clamp that you depress to tighten the lid. 9 out of 10 times when i close it it has a leak. Is there any tricks to this, am I supposed to line things up, it just never seems to seal correctly. I think the older clamp versions are better thanks...

I have a tall canister filter type, and the bands are starting to break, can you use rubber bands or maybe even hair ties to keep the it together? thanks GTP

Well thank you all, it found its way to the basket at the pump. I am very lucky!

I am not proud of this but tonight i dropped a mens regualr size sock (that was about 1/4 full of some stabilizer) into the skimmer and my basket was out.....it sucked the sock right down. I hurried and turned the pump off, what do you think i should do? I am hoping it can make it all the way...

Yeah the straps that hold them are starting to break, but I hope I can get another year or so!

The only reason the pressure was high on Filter as I had all the valves set to make maximum pressure as I thought hat would help. Thanks all....it was a dirty filter, although it want to bad, but I cleaned it and now the waterfalls and vacum are working again. I do have the original filter...

I cant seem to get my waterfalls to produce flow anymore. I do get small trickles of water but not the waterfall effect. Also my vacuum pool cleaner is not having enough juice to move as well. I feel like this is pressure loss somewhere but can not figure this out. I do not appear to be losing...

Wow, OK, I mean the pool looks great and all, but i do have numerous little debris items from trees that get inside of it and hard to clean it out.

With monthly cleaning and all, realiistically, how long can a filter last. im thinking i can get 18 months out of it? I have a Hayward C200 S Filter. thanks GTP

so i took out the old flow switch and looked at it. It did have some rusting on it and some tiny rust specs which i took off. Did the ol blow on it real hard and boom, it now works. Weird If anyone helping out here is a light expert, please see this thread as i have another issue: 2...

also when pump is off, and the flow switch is plugged in, it is pulling amps. As soon as I unplug it the light goes red and amps goes to 0

I am pretty sure my GC messed up the install with the SWG. But he is long gone. No Flow Line REd indicator light See some history on my install here. Moving forward. How do I test if a flow switch is bad. Any videos on how to change one out as i think i need to start here. thanks for the help

yes i have seperate skimmer line and main drain line (but my main drain line is also tied to the vacum/cleaner line) So I shut off that main drain line, but i have still have bubbles
