absolutely you will want several properly grounded electrical outlets near the lounging area. Make sure they put the switch for the light close to the pool deck also. I wish I would have added at least one more outlet. I assume the electrician is also doing your bonding at the same time.

depending on your type of soil, that may not work. Consider piping the whole thing to a natural drainage area or using a holding type system to slow the flow onto your yard. We put in a small dry creek bed with stones to carry water to the drainage channel

be careful of the uncompacted dirt... I'm 6 months post construction and already have cracks in the concrete b/c the concrete guy said the dirt and fill had settled enough.. plate compactors are about $60.00 a day to rent... replacing concrete...well ...not so cheap

what impact does rain have on pool water. Our pool is still open and we've recieved just over an inch of ran in 2 days. The water level was a little low before the rain (intentionally b/c rain was coming). Does 1 " rain equal 1" increase in pool water level? What happens to the pH.

:rant: So construction is 2 and 1/2 weeks into progress. The pool is completely in along with an exterior water line, natural gas line and there is water in the pool. The electrician cannot finish until the concrete guy can lay the gridwork and the concrete guy's vacation and other projects...

maybe I should clarify. We envision the large 20x 10 area to be the primary lounging area since the gate and steps will interfere with the other area. The cheaper install location would be near the gate , bottom side of the attached drawing.
