    IntelliCenter2 Migration to Pentair Home

I'm in Texas and upgraded Friday, mine worked with my Houston zip code, 77024. Overall the app seems to working OK, but pump speed is very slow to update when I change it (seemed faster on the old app).

    IntelliCenter 2.017 FW Update

Not a defect with 2.017 but a defect IMHO with how Pentair is handling it...I purchased two 11056 pumps from Marina Pool & Spa in Dec 21 and DIY installed. Both have 3.03 firmware. My IC upgraded on its own to 2.017, and I had the problems with the pumps others have noted. Called Pentair and was...

    Intellicenter not showing pump speeds/wattage

I have had several issues with my Intellicenter/Intelliflo comms. First issues was that the comm port on the main PCB stopped "working". This happened to me concurrent with switching out of Service Mode right after I had upgraded to the ill-fated 2.006 (?) Intellicenter firmware. Going back to...

Intellicenter lost pump comms after service mode

Regarding Intelliflo firmware, I have not, although I actually searched around yesterday for information on Intelliflo firmware, and came up empty. How does one find the latest version, and how to upgrade it? Both pumps are part number 11056, both purchased in Dec 2021.

Intellicenter lost pump comms after service mode

Yes...and no. Some weeks ago I moved both pump RS485 connections to the headers on the RS485 surge board. Connection restored! But then this weekend, I opened up the app. Literally the second the app loaded I heard the filter pump change rpm, which was strange. I went over to the filter pump...

Submerged spa - pros & cons?

Ha, yes our current pool has the 1990s resort look...except all the flagstone is cracking and falling off... We don't use the spa that much now but...the "boss" of our household is going to stop working soon, and she has grand visions of soaking in the hot tub every day. So be it. I (DIY)...

Submerged spa - pros & cons?

Now that the home improvement market seems to be cooling off a bit, we are planning a complete "remodel" next year of our backyard. Our existing 20+ year old freeform pool and hardscaping is in rough shape cosmetically, and the pool was poorly placed originally in the backyard (installed by...

IntelliCenter loosing RS485 connection to pump

I moved the pump RS485 connections to one of the RS485 connections on the surge board (where the Intelliph/Intellichlor connects). It works now. I still believe the firmware upgraded somehow bricked the "dedicated" pump RS485 connection on the main PCB.

IntelliCenter loosing RS485 connection to pump

For me, after the Intellicenter upgrade to 2.006 I lost Intellicenter connection to both my Intelliflo VSFs. This happened the exact instant I switched from Service Mode to Auto Mode. I downgraded to 1.064 and both pumps were still offline. Per advice on another post, I moved the pumps' RS485...

Intellicenter lost pump comms after service mode

I have an Intellicenter I10-PS connected with 2 Intelliflo VSFs. When I change the filter DE, I put the Intellicenter in service mode so that I can use the Intelliflo keypad to quickly turn the filter pump on/off. I did this a couple weeks ago, and when finished put the Intellicenter back in...

reputable online stores to purchase new raypak pool heater

I bought a Raypak 406A from Inyopools.com in March, at the time there were the lowest price of anyone who had it in stock. Arrived quickly, no damage, delivered via truck with lift gate. Previously at the old house I had bought my intellicenter, IC40 and MasterTemp from Polytec; it was a great...

Intellicenter 2 - After upgrade cannot add new programs

Intellicenter 2 - After upgrade cannot add new programs

I recently upgraded my i10PS to the latest firmware, and now access via Intellicenter2.com and the associated app. However, I am unable to add any new programs for any feature circuit or circuit group other than Pool and Spa. I can click add program, select a feature circuit, but if I click...

Implications of installing gas heater myself?

It's a pretty straightforward job as long as the existing gas service to the pool pad can handle a 400k BTU heater. Chances are, it does. Otherwise, it's just the tedious work of redoing the existing gas connections and pipe connections to mate up to the new heater. I (DIY) put in a Raypak 406A...

Traditional Robot vs Polaris Quattro Sport

For what its worth, we recently moved, and I bought a Polaris Quattro Sport for the new house, as the 280 that came with the house was trashed. At our old house, I replaced the friggin' Polaris 280 had a Warrior SE (S200). The Warrior SE did a great job cleaning, but my SO hated having the cable...

    Mastertemp 400 - no power

Could be the keypad membrane label. On the MasterTemp 400 (2019 model) at my previous home, the on/off button on the keypad failed TWICE in TWO years. Mine failed in the ON position. I have a fair bit of experience in my business with membrane keypads, and the weatherproofing of the Mastertemp...

Quietest 400k heater - Raypak vs Jandy vs Pentair vs Hayward?

Looking to purchase a new 400k natural gas heater for our new-to-us house. (Existing heater was apparently wrecked during the big Texas freeze). The pool equipment is a little closer than I'd like to the pool/seating area. Noise level is a concern. I'm considering a Raypak Digital, Jandy Jxi...

Polaris hose in-line quick disconnect? (not at wall, in hose)

Just moved to a new house with a beautiful large pool and spa. Strangely, though, the Polaris wall connection was placed about 3 ft below the surface, where the spa wall protrudes in the pool. My arms are about 8" too short to reach the connection, without dunking my chest into the pool. I'd...

Wiring Intelliflo + Intellichlor SWG + Mastertemp (without automation)

Over the last couple years I (DIY) replaced all of my pool equipment, including adding an IC40 and installing an Intellicenter I10PS. We just have a simple pool now, but were planning to completely redo the pool, and add a spa - thus the reason I bought the I10PS to "future proof" the equipment...

    IntellipH connection/power with Intellicenter/Intellichlor

    IntellipH connection/power with Intellicenter/Intellichlor

I have an IntelliCenter i10PS with the "built-in" Intellichlor transformer (& IC40) and an IntellipH enroute to me from Polytec. I already have an Intelliflo pump. Looking forward to getting it all installed over the coming long weekend and finally eliminating my current wall of Intermatics...
