I understand. My hookup is meter, then gas regulator, and then it splits to the house and second run to the pool heater (2", about 100 feet).

I'm not 100% sure but i think so.

My run from the gas regulator to my heater is 2" (about 100 ft) and the last 5-8 feet is 1" I think (same caliber as the pipe that goes into and out of the gas valve).
