Large 50,000 Gal 26'x 45' Convert to SWG.

Yes, cool verse painted on the pool bottom(y) , so with an SWG all that's needed is any flow across it to be actively producing chlorine ? No need to have it in a higher speed for the chlorinator to be effective ?

A friend of mine has a frog tablet set up on his pool and wants to convert to SWG (yep, talked him into some kind of TFP way), I'm a Stenner Pump Liq Chlorine user and told him I'd put a post out there to see if he can get some recommendations for a good brand SWG for his size pool, he will be...

A little cloudy under water ?

CC's were .5 as usual, I was referring to just raising the CYA up to 50 like I usually run it as well as increase the FC level a tad, may just bump it to SLAM level overnight like you mentioned and check it out in the morning.Yep, just got back from the store with MA and 10% Bleach to dose it up...

Thanks Richard, I was thinking on leaving it a bit lower then the 70-80 I ran last year to see how my pH rise trends ? Maybe a tad lower like 50-60 TA will maintain a slower rise pH for me ? - - - Updated - - - Yep, 30 it is.... Trucked in city water (18000 gals) and the last 6000 gal from...

Added a 6.5lb tub of CYA last night (via a couple socks over the return jets) I know it will not show up for a week but I assume it will start doing its job now and should assume I have a CYA level of 35 ish right now, based on my newly calculated water capacity of 24000 rather then the past...

Thanks, I think it will for sure...the few spots I had to re-sand down took an aweful lot of sanding pressure with a sanding disc on my cordless drill to even disturb this paint...so with that I believe it definately bonded to the coping for sure:-) only time will tell, and paint is cheap...
