Fix update** So we had the union but needed to buy the Jandy valve switch part. Hired a plumber to connect all the pieces together. It wasn't a smooth plug in and play. He needed to saw out parts of the Jandy valve to fit the union and also take out parts of the side pipes to re pipe...

The union nut yes. I had a plumber come by and he said we have to out that middle chunk and re pipe that area since everything is stuck together. Had to purchase the jandy 3 way pipe unit along with union. Will have plumber replace and reconnect those parts.

Yeah if I decide to get it done, I'll def post some wip pictures here.
