Yes correct. (That wasn't the case until today when I changed it) I am still trying to understand how Pentair set it up in their manual (which doesn't work for me since my plumbing is different).

A bit hard to show there is not a lot of space behind the heater.

It's a true solar valve with the little check valve on it.

Today I noticed that after the pump turned off my filter drained by getting air through the solar valve. I have a check valve between the pump and filter so the pump did not drain. Is this something I should be concerned about? Below is my plumbing setup.

I guess I’m cleaning it too much then 3 times a year 😆 I haven’t had solar long enough to actually get the filter dirty.

I want my solar system to run at 50GPM independent of how dirty/ clean the filter is so I thought setting it a certain GPM would make my life easier but it seems like I should just stick to RPM and call it a day :D

I had the pentair repair guys come out a couple of times and it seems like their is a bug in the FW related to the solar circuit.

I tried that and a few other things with Pentair which didn't help. Good thing downgrading is very easy and the update didn't add any new functionality. So I am back at the previous version and everything works great again.

Thank you for the super quick reply. I have 022056 VS pumps. The display showed not active. The FW is 2.11 does that mean my pumps are running super old FWs? Interestingly my spa jet pump and water feature pump work as expected just the main circulation pump does not.

The pool has been filled for 2 weeks now so too early to turn on the heater (pentair mastertemp 400) but I wanted to see if it at least works (has power). And apparently it doesn’t - no light or anything on the display. Pumps, intellivalves and intellicenter work. Is there anything I need to do...

Are their any plans to implement that at some point? If the default position for the valve is bubbler off and I want to feature circuits with the bubbler on: 1) low flow and 2) max flow how would I achieve that? I can only assign the valve to open the bubbler to one circuits is my understanding.
