New pump new DE filter NO PRESSURE!

I have one return. I’m assuming that’s the eyeball to which you are referring to. I did. I actually do no have a working weir door however. It broke off last season and I haven’t found a suitable replacement yet. When I do get the system running good, around 12 pounds of pressure, the water in...

New pump new DE filter NO PRESSURE!

Each year I open my inground pool I struggle with getting good pressure. Whether it’s to the skimmer to vacuum or just a combination of the 2 ports. This year I purchased a new Hayward 1 hp super pump and a Hayward DE filter, hoping that might help. I don’t know why but I just did. Now it’s all...

    Skimmer basket flap door

Hey gang. Last year before closing the pool, the skimmer flap broke off. I’ve not been able to find a suitable replacement. Can I start to open and vacuum without it for now? Thanks. Dan

Help. I removed cover to find a foot of water left in my inground pool!!

Update*** I started adding water. I’ve had the water level up to just above the return. It’s held that level for 7 days. Am I crazy or could there not actually be a leak. I find that hard to believe at I removed the cove to find about 6000 gallons gone

Help. I removed cover to find a foot of water left in my inground pool!!

I’m hoping it is the drain. I spoke to someone and asked if that could be the problem. I was told if that was the case all the water would be gone. But if it is a gradual leak that may not be true

I got in and did that but it was a quick look as the water was very cold. I’m working up the courage to venture in again though.

Help. I removed cover to find a foot of water left in my inground pool!!

I bought the house in 2012 with no knowledge of when the liner was installed. No one knew. It seems to be in good shape. It’s not pulling away from coping. But it does have some considerable wrinkling.

    New from Central NY

Greetings. I bought a house with an inground pool in 2012. Since then I’ve learned a lot but not so much that I think I know anything. It seems to be a different problem every year and each year I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I manage to solve it. I have a 15000 gallon 20’ octagon...

Help. I removed cover to find a foot of water left in my inground pool!!

I’ve opened and closed my own pool since 2012. This is the first year I’ve lost so much water. And worse, I fear I’ve discovered it too late. It’s a 20 ft octagon shaped unground. 15000 gallons. With a skinner, 1 return and a bottom drain.
