Hey gang. Last year before closing the pool, the skimmer flap broke off. I’ve not been able to find a suitable replacement. Can I start to open and vacuum without it for now? Thanks. Dan

Update*** I started adding water. I’ve had the water level up to just above the return. It’s held that level for 7 days. Am I crazy or could there not actually be a leak. I find that hard to believe at I removed the cove to find about 6000 gallons gone
