Hi guys, I am trying to help a friend up in Canada get their pool issues sorted out. Unfortunately, they have definitely not been following the TFP methods. That said, they have a K2006C kit and a speed stir on the way so we can actually find out what's going on. Now on to what's happening...

Some is white, some has this blue stuff. It starts in the grout lines and runs down across the glass tiles. The tile is glass so I doubt the blue is coming from them. We have the efflourecense all the time but it was always white before.

We have a spillover hot tub with glass tile. We have always had white efflourecense coming from the grout, but now it is turning blue (see pics). Any ideas what is causing this?

Sooo...apparently I was going blind. Turns out only the breaker was flipped. Because of the clip tying the two poles together, it looked almost normal. Using my DMM, I could tell there was no power at all so just traced it back. Now, i was curious about that seal too. Seems its intact but...

Actually, I cant get that low. With a pH of 7.6 and a CYA of 70 (planned), my CSI will be -0.21 assuming my other numbers stay the same at 84F. My water wont get a lot warmer than that with our cooler. I am going to bring it down to 7.6 and see what happens tho
