    Bonding for equipment

Yea I saw the empty lug but just thought was it completely necessary since it hasn't been on the system since we moved in 4 or 5 years ago. The timer next to it isn't bonded either. The two pumps are and then it runs into the ground next to the plumbing.

    Bonding for equipment

Isn't there supposed to be a copper wire running to these other bonded pieces from the Hayward box on the wall? Been here for years and just noticed there's nothing running from the pumps up to the box. Was about to rewire the Hayward box correctly because it's getting power and generating when...

    Trust the process (SLAM)

I do have a question if anyone can answer it and ease my concern. At what point do I need to start worrying about bleaching our liner? I am on day 10 of SLAM keeping FC at 20 (CYA 50) Im on my 21st gallon of bleach and its still cloudy. 21 gallons of bleach sounds terrible for the liner. Any...

    Trust the process (SLAM)

This is more of a don't get discouraged/lose hope post. I needed one over the past 7 days so I figured I'd make one. Not completely done but there is a light at the end of the tunnel or floor bottom through the cloudiness. To everyone who wants to throw their hands up after SLAMing for over a...

    CYA dot test

Just curious when I'm doing the cya test the dot will disappear and then I stop and it's like the sample settles and I can see it again, so I keep going till I cant see it no matter. Is that the correct way to do this test or at first loss of sight do I say that's my number? FYI it first...

    Pool slide repair

Final coat is on and everything looks good. I sanded between coats with 320. Not sure if I'm supposed to sand after the final coat with a extra super fine grit like 3000 or just buff and wax?

    Pool slide repair

So this is the second year of us having a pool. I want to say the pool was installed in 1990 so I assume this slide has had lots of sun and not enough sunscreen. Either way I bit the bullet and decided this year we would repair it. So far this is where we are at. This is after one coat. The...
