Sorry. What’s the difference? I have the Aquacal… pretty sure it’s a heat pump. Turn it on 24hrs before use and it heats the pool to the desired temp.

I was told to replace the filters about every 1-2 years. I try to rinse them with a hose about every 3-4 months. How do you know when a replacement is needed?

I completely agree, but I know in life there are some things that you need good quality items and it's worth every penny and some places you can save a couple bucks with similar outcomes.

1) how do you clean it? Simply rinse in the pool water? Tap water? Use a brush? 2) after a test, do you spill contents into pool and rinse the comparator between tests in pool water? Do you spill test contents elsewhere? (I usually do on the grass - is this bad?)

Can someone just review the amounts of each chemical to add. Don't want to mess it up. Also based on TFP I read the recommended chemicals. The Salt that is recommended is $35 vs $5 at Home Depot. Is that because it's not as pure there?
