    High CL with Liquid CHL

Tested again in better light this morning, FC- 11 chlorine dial stayed at same setting not sure why this went up? CC < .5 TA- 100 CYA- 30 was definitely 30 or less could almost see dot when tube was full of water.

    High CL with Liquid CHL

No it is just a dial, I think I’m going to have to recalibrate it, I’m almost at the lowest setting already and 3-4 years ago it would stay at halfway.

    High CL with Liquid CHL

The ORP reading never really correlated to what my test would come out too. And the rep for the system said I should pay much attention to it, but I know I’ve had to turn the dial almost all the way down.

    High CL with Liquid CHL

Taylor drop test, I have an automatic chlorine feeder, it’s hard to tell exactly what the CYA is, I feel it is always partially subjective. The “pool store” said it was 34.

    Readings Comparisions

So the sales guy that installed my automated liquid chlorine/acid system came by to do a post installation check up and while he was there he took some readings and sent me this screen shot, see attached. I am assuming this is a computer generated reading? The CCL is what got me, if it was...

    Trouble with Stains

A few days of readings but these stains have been here for a while. Old pool replastered 4 years ago. Tried rubbing the puck too, nothing. I had to add some calcium because levels were staying low. I did have to slam at the beginning of the summer I think stains were already there 8/10...

    Trouble with Stains

I have a large area with discoloration and it is only on the shallow end 5ft and less. It doesn't come up with brushing so I tried putting a puck in, left it for 30 min and nothing, got in and scrapped it on the bottom and it didn't streak. Some kids were able to scrape their initials on the...

Well, for what it's worth from my camera the pool looks blue, will not be able to test until tonight. I do have a guy coming look at installing a liquid feeding system today, Pumps & Feed Systems | AquaSol. Only found one thread about automatic controllers and it was for just PH, I am sure...

    Liquid Chlorine/ But green tint

Just tested fc 3 and cc was 0.5. Water doesn’t have green tint anymore just cloudy. So I backwashed and rinsed then added 5 gallons of 12% bleach for the night will check back in AM. The cloudiness clears up quick or is that what takes the most time?

Drained about 1/4-1/5 of the pool and refilled with fresh water. Added 1 gallon of acid to bring the ph down and then added 10 gallons of 12% bleach last night. This morning took readings (did both test dropper and powder because I must of did something wrong I am guessing), levels below...
