I picked my 22 x 52 intex Ultra from Walmart last year in Sept. It was on clearance for $299 but I asked the Dept Manager if he would be willing to get it off the floor for $150 and he agreed.

We've been enjoying out pool for a couple weeks now. Weather has been great here in Arizona, Pool is at 78 degrees in the day.

I just added my cobblestone border and rubber mulch moat. I'm going to refinish the stone boarder with a varish to make it look new again. Picked up the border for $60 on craigslist.

Then the mishap...... The water hose fell out for about 30 minutes while I was inside. It could have been way worse but it all worked out. I needed this area soft anyways so I can cut to lay sod. .

Here is a few photos of my progress and mishap. Its been a fun project so far and I literally haven't spent a dime... Ill save that story for later.

I just pulled the trigger on a new sand filter at a great price too. Reading up now if I should upgrade on my salt system as well if I need to. I have model #cs8110 on the salt system. I picked it up new a few months ago for $20 still in box.
