No. Its a new pool though so it PH creeps up

Ta is 40. PH is 7.2

I’m going on spring break. My PH typicall goes from 7.0 to 8.0 in 4 days. Is it safe for me to bring it down to 6.5ish so I can leave for a week? I don’t want to damage the gunnite or equipment. Thanks!

I manually chlorinate my pool with bleach each day / as needed. The pump is set to run 8 hours but I’m not sure that’s really necessary. Any advice for non salt water pools like mine? If helpful, I live in SW florida, material is gunite, and its 10,000 gallons

Thanks. I think i figured it out. My TA is 80 and the pool math calculator defaults to 0. I need to add more acid

How long after I add acid can i test the pool again? I have a new laster pool and an trying to keep the ph under 8. It was 8.2 6 hours ago, i added the required amount of acid per pool math, and it looks like its still 7.8 (instead of 7.0 like i put acid in for) Did i retest too soon?

Can i brush the walls each day at this point? I know that can help abate algae

Hi im considering getting a Labrador retriever. Since they are water dogs I assume it'll jump in the pool all of the time. What is the likelihood the fiberglass will get scratched (steps, etc from the dogs nails)? I'm not sure if fiberglass scratches easily. thanks

Due to lower temps I'm running my waterfall quite a bit more. I haven't bothered checking PH since I'm not swimming but will a higher ph decrease or otherwise inhibit chlorine? thanks

hi i went to adjust the time on my filter this AM due to daylight savings time but the screen is unreadable. The pump is on and functioning but the display just has a bunch of symbols and I can access the menu. thoughts on how to fix? The pump is about a year old so I assume it's under warranty

i love Frisco. Just like the foundation of your house, the clay soil reeks havoc on concrete. It looks like ground movement from the clay soil
