    Been gone awhile...amazed at the site now!

    I was active about 12 years ago, when the TFP started as an offshoot from a previous site that went dead. Sold that house and moved, now we're looking into installing a pool finally. I'm amazed and very happy to see such a thriving community! Glad to (hopefully) be back in the pool care...

    Crack in steps..

    Howdy, I had a similar crack in my walk ins, was losing quite a bit of water. Here's what I did: (my steps are plastic, not fiberglass) Drain pool below level of crack, mine was the second step, so no liner issues with the level down. Drill out the ends of the cracks with a small drill bit...

    Brining...

    A friend told me how to brine about 2 years ago. He made a Thanksgiving turkey that was the best I've ever had (Don't tell Grandma), turns out he brined it over night. Since then, I do most of my pork chops and chicken that way before I grill. Keeps everything very moist and tasty!!
