Advice on new Gas Heater Pentair, Hayward, Other?

Chiming in late.... I love the Raypak heaters, currently own a 406A natural gas unit. Easy to use, fires up within 5-10 seconds and gets to temp quick. I do not know much about the LOW-NOX systems sorry. However a general note of caution. My first Raypak was installed back in 2006. Worked great...

    Raypak 406A 7 Pin Remote Plug/Cable

I am trying to configure my Raypak 406A heater for remote operation. I opened up the panel and the 7 pin connector w/ 3 wires is not there. I went through my bag of goodies and no luck. I searched on the web to order but for the life of me I can't find it. I did find a wiring harness pack which...

Is there a way to visually identify what voltage my current pump is using (115 or 230V)? Silly question I know

Thanks again for the advice. Before and after pics. Just waiting on the FC to come down to normal levels. Hoping CYA will drop after all the rain that we will have this weekend. All other levels good. See the guy in the blue shirt? Sure he is nice but he won't be back (pool company).

    2019 Pool Opening in VA

Plan to head to Wally world to get the Pool Essentials Chlorinating Liquid to start the SLAM this evening. But I did stumble on to a new issue and apologize if it belongs in the pump/filter section. I did all my brushing and backwashing last night after adding muriatic acid to lower the PH...

    2019 Pool Opening in VA

Thanks Texas. Addressing PH now. I will roll right in to SLAM tomorrow hopefully. Those joker's at the pool company we're dumping all sorts of junk in the pool. Seems like I come in high every year but by mid summer usually sit between 40-50 CYA. Silly question. With my CYA at it's current...

DE Filter Pressure High (unusual activity)

Pool&Spatech I don't know what to say. You are freakishly wise! Without seeing my system and its setup, you nailed it. Read your post this morning and tackled the equipment. Followed your advice and sure enough looks like the outlet JVA (not sure if term is right???) is dead in the water. I...

DE Filter Pressure High (unusual activity)

I need to reach back to the pros here at TFP. You always save my butt, and a few dollars. I have a Jandy DE filter that typically runs at 18-20psi. Earlier today after testing chemicals and sweeping the pool out, pressure was about 21-22psi. Triggered a thought that I will have to backwash...
