Flagstone coping done before concrete deck??

thank you so much! I’m beyond stressed... it looks like they used a light mortar to lay your stone which is smart.. I said I wanted a tan grout from the beginning but the stone was placed with grey.. and now it seems I have no other option than to go with grey grout. 😩 attaching photos...

I like your grout.. I just text my husband a picture of it. I’ll show the stone guy and see if he can do something similar. All this stress on grout color and trying to decide on the color and brand for the insides of the pool. 🤣 I can’t wait for it to be done.

Flagstone coping done before concrete deck??

This is a sample he did for us... I think the light color is too light and I want a little darker.. more light tan cream. Making decisions are so much harder than I thought it would be.

Flagstone coping done before concrete deck??

We are currently doing our coping first.. def made more since. Did you do your tile before or after your coping? We did our tile line first and while doing the coping there is def thicker areas of mortar which show in the pool.. I know they have to do it because stone is different level of...

Flagstone coping done before concrete deck??

So we are doing owner builder pool and subbing out each phase. We are trying to decide if we should do the flagstone coping before or after the concrete deck? My husband owns a concrete company but they don’t typically do pool decks.. they seem to think we should do the concrete first and then...
